Beautiful Keweenaw, Michigan

Found this artlcile ...Great National Parks for Spectacular Fall Colors: Eastern Edition
Examiner Miami by Randi Minetor
Keweenaw National Historical Park, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. There’s nowhere better in the North Country to view truly magnificent foliage than by driving north on state road 26, the Copper Country Trail National Scenic Byway, from Houghton to Copper Harbor. This little peninsula in Lake Superior is virtually covered with forest, much of which has turned by late September. You’ll see trees that turn copper, and some even turn a red so deep it looks purple. The display continues through late October—and the snow won’t be far behind.
