Poundcake Cookies

3/4 pound butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 egg yolks
3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted twice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream butter. Add sugar and egg yolks. Blend well. Stir in flour and vanilla extract. Form into small balls. If desired, roll each ball in cinnamon-sugar. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. These cookies taste better after one or two days.
